God’s Story Meets Our Story

Understand | Study | Tell | Live

Small Groups at the INN are a place where college students and young adults (18-24) gather with their neighbors about God, the Bible, and life as a Christ follower.  Through Small Groups, the INN invites students into a real encounter with Jesus Christ, as they consider what it means for God’s story to become their story.  INN Small Groups foster a community in which students are encouraged to understand God’s story, study God’s story, tell their story, and live God’s story.

UNDERSTAND God’s Story

INN Small Groups are a place to ask who God is and what his desire is for the world he created.

STUDY God’s Story

INN Small Groups are a place to be equipped to read, study, and discuss the Bible first-hand.

TELL the Story

INN Small Groups are a place to tell and hear dynamic kingdom stories – stories that tell of our need for God and stories that tell of His redeeming and restorative work in our lives.

LIVE the God Story

INN Small Groups are a place to put faith into action, seeking ways we can be the hands and feet of Jesus, ‘the Gospel with skin on’ to the people who God puts in our midst in our classes, our neighborhoods, the dorms, at work, at home, and beyond.

Small Groups, MOVE/INN and YOU

God is doing incredible things at INN Small Groups. Lives are being transformed as people grow in understanding of God’s heart for the world through studying, telling, and living the story with others. As the INN community, we want to remove any possible barriers that might stand in the way of someone connecting to Christ, so Small Groups are moving in more fully to the dorms and the neighborhoods where students and 20-somethings live. That means:

  • Meeting in more accessible locations
  • Groups will be formed around location and age/stage in life
  • Groups will partner with the Connections Team to actively seek ways to be a blessing to the people who surround them in their daily lives

Brother Group or Sister Group: These groups are a great way to connect with other guys or girls in the INN community to discuss important life issues, study the Bible, explore faith, ask questions, have fun and build lasting friendships.

Senior/Grad Bible Study: Led by an older member of the community (i.e. not a fellow student), these groups of all guys or all girls meet weekly for Bible study, discussion, support, and fun. If you're nearing the end of your time at school or have recently transitioned out, then this is the group for you.
