SPRING BREAK MISSION TRIPS
March 17 – 24, 2012

VANCOUVER, B.C.

with Willow Weston, Laura Beaty & Danielle Schulz
Local meets international! We’re going to the Great White North’s west coast gem to see the true heart of this Olympics host city. We’ll be staying downtown and working with the homeless and street population of Vancouver, as well as volunteering at a kids’ day camp, serving and being the hands and feet of Jesus. This trip will open your eyes to the need for God’s love in all places.
TRENTON, NJ
with Lindsay Anderson, Seth Thomas & Jenni Herold
Believe it or not, there is much more to the Garden State than what you see on ‘Jersey Shore’! Despite New Jersey’s wealthy reputation, Trenton is one of the most impoverished cities in the country, with over a quarter of its residents living in poverty. We will partner with the Center for FaithJustice to serve in a number of ways, doing home repairs for needy families, serving at soup kitchens, and working with physically and mentally handicapped adults.
NEW ORLEANS, LA
with Jenn Underwood & D.J. Morgan
Though it has been six years since Hurricane Katrina tore apart the city in 2005, many parts of the city still look as devastated and broken as they did back then—most notably in the Lower Ninth Ward, the poorest neighborhood in New Orleans. We will partner with Project Homecoming in their rebuilding efforts in low-income communities, as well as helping build new, eco-friendly homes for low-income families.

BLACK MESA, AZ
with Stead Halstead & Maddie Neuman
We’re going back to the Res’! Join us as we return to the Navajo Nation in northeastern Arizona, to a high desert region called Black Mesa. We’ll be working with Experience Mission, restoring homes for families in need and working with children in after-school programs. This is an international experience inside of our own country. Come discover the heart and love of the Navajo people.
